Participation in the first edition of “International Geosciences Student Conference” (IGSC) organized under the auspices of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers (EAGE), Romanian Society of Geophysics (SRG), Geological Society of Romania (SGR) in Bucharest. Our company’s stand offered information to those interested in geophysical methods used in the investigations at small depth to support engineering works. Complex issues of engineering projects involve the application of multiple methods to achieve a more detailed picture of the underground situation from both geological, hydrogeological and buried utilities or objects. In this context, geophysical methods (geoelectrical, georadar, magnetic, electromagnetic, seismic, etc.) together with geological and topographical information can substantially improve the quality of works and can generate cost savings for execution.
