Bathymetry

Bathymetry can be considered the equivalent of altimetry water. It is the study of water depth behind which can make maps and profiles of underwater relief.

The method was successfully used on lakes and rivers before and after dredging, the silt deposit determination and estimation of reserves of material due to the flood risk maps, maps of lakes for recreational beach area with a potentially deep job alert drowning, underwater archaeological research.

Application:

• Measurements for determination of  the depth of lakes and rivers

• Monitoring the excavation in the ballast-hole

• Maps with isobath depth of lakes, rivers or marine waters

• Cross rivers and lakes profile
